Setting goals and achieveing them

Goals can be defined as aim or objectives of a person that he wants to achieve. Setting goals provides us the aim for which we can put our dedication, hardwork and effort for. Setting and achieveing our goals on a daily basis and making a habit out of it can really make a positive change in person's life. Not only setting goals but also choosing our goals wisely also plays a keen role in our personal growth and development.

While setting the goals following points should also be  kept in mind :

1. Goals should not seem to be unrealistic

2. They should be completed in time you have decided.

3. Don't set too many goals at a time. You can end up achieving none.

4. They should add value to your life in a positive manner.

5. Your goal should push your boundary limits and you out of your comfort zone.

Many of us set our goals on daily basis but do not put focus on them or do not try to achieve them because we find them out of our reach. Doing that on daily basis can make a bad impression for yourself and people around you. We should also keep in mind that our goals should be of our own, do not allow anyone else to set them and influence them once you already chose it. Having goals and staying committed towards them will keep our focus on the things that we have identified as essential to reach and get our desired output. We should already know that by achieving the goal we set , it will add some benefit for us. For achieveing the goal in effective manner we can reward ourselves that will make us more pushing towards our next target. Try to minimize the distractions around you and put your most time and efforts towards your achievement.

A goal always begins with a dream. So it is important to dream and envision. However without a plan and action towards it, it will always remain a dream. As it is said-" dreams are seen but goals are achieved."
