Things I Learned in First Year of College | The Story of My Engineering Life

After clearing 12th exam and appearing for entrance exam we all have the dream to enjoy our college life, also in my case all things happened in their sequence little late but everything happened  and it has been almost a year since I entered the college. In this journey of one year I have learnt many things which I want to share with you all.

1.Intialization is Important

In my first year I have tried many things which includes photography, poetry, blog writing etc. but the most important step was initial one, once I started the things I wanted to do, I started enjoying it and after that everything went is smoothly and pleasantly. Even my initial interaction with many people in college were started by me it was little hard but once they got to know me everything went interestingly.

2.Interaction is Necessary

Interaction with people around you makes confident, because at the end you know something about them. It's initialisation can be little difficult as it was in my case, the people with whom I initially interacted were seem to be less interested in talking with me because of feeling of strangeness but initially I showed my interest to interact with them. They are now good friends of mine and I also go to a kind of maturity to know that there is not one way to be happy, people from different background can also be happy. So don't be afraid of talking to people around you only because you are newer to them.

3. Importance of  Positive Environment

The kind of environment or exposure you're getting has a huge role in your life. A negative environment can also get you in trouble and lead to the negative growth. The person with whom you are sitting on the first day of college is not necessarily your good friend, you have to choose the people you wanted around you wisely. Always be aware that everyone has something negative in them, so don't try learn everything from someone.

How I learned it?
A serious incident happened with one of my friend in the first sem because of the bad company around him,it let me know the importance of good company.

4.Importance of Exploring different Fields

It is important to explore other fields and new things because they add some values to you and let you know your potential. Some fields in which I explored myself were photography, poetry, blog writing.I am still novice in them but they boosted my confidence because I get to know myself and get the knowledge of other fields. One thing which I strongly recommending here is reading good books which can add value to your life.

5. B.tech is of 4 Years not of 4 Months.

This is not only the fact but also a concept. When we enter the college in our first year we try to impress someone who looks beautiful and attractive  but in hurry most of us choose the wrong person which ultimate deteriorate over experience of that particular field (here love) . So be practical and don't be in hurry to choose someone for you. And at last everything is a chemical locha (here our hormones).

How I learnt it ?
As every first year student I also dreamt of meeting some princess and actually I met but soon I realized that it's too early to divert myself towards someone, it would take time and energy.

Thanks for reading.

You can share your experiences in the comment box and let me know if I am wrong anywhere.

She:- "Start to prepare for CAT atleast 6 months before the exam (which is generally in November). Many people need to give the exam atleast 2 times before they get it right.
